Deposits
We take deposits for out of hours large group bookings, parties and our events. We at Studio 62 do not issue refunds on deposits, if you do need to cancel for any reason, if you cancel more than 48 hours prior we are happy to move your group booking or party to another date for no additional fee, otherwise it will be left to our discretion. If you need to cancel an event booking please contact the studio.
Standard Tables
We welcome walk in customers but we cannot guarantee you a table, so we do recommend to book beforehand. You can book either by calling our studio (01709 529440) during our opening hours, messaging us through our FaceBook Page, messaging through our WhatsApp (07932 737438) or by pressing the little hand in the bottom corner.
Pricing
Our price is dependent on the pottery chosen, it starts at £13 per pot and increases depending on size and style of the pot. All prices will be on the shelves when you are in the studio. The price also includes the paint, glazing and kiln firing. As soon as you start painting a pot you will be expected to pay the price of the pot as advertised even if you decide to paint something else.
Vouchers
All vouchers are valid for 1 year from purchase. All gift vouchers purchased through the website will be sent via post incurring an additional postage fee. If any voucher gets lost in post, get in touch as we are happy to send another voucher at no additional fee. If a replacement voucher has been sent our staff can reject it in studio if we suspect you are using both the lost and replacement voucher.
Customer Breakages
All breakages will be charged at full shelf price at the discretion of our staff.
Glaze Firing and our Kiln
After you have painted we will fire your pot in a glaze firing. Unfortunately some complications can occur during the firing process. If complications do arise during the firing of your pot we will try our best to remedy the situation to get you your pot back in a timely manner. In the rare occasion where your pot does crack or break inside the kiln you are entitled to a full refund or replacement of the pot, we at Studio 62 accept no liability or responsibility for claims in relation to "trauma" or "emotional distress".
Collections
We aim to get your pot back to you within 2 weeks of it being painted. Sometimes items may take longer due to size, volume and finish. If it will take longer than the 2 weeks our staff will inform you with a rough estimate on when your pot can be collected. Once ready for collection we will send you a text message with your ticket number. Due to limited storage we reserve the right to dispose of any pottery not collected within 3 months of the text message being sent. If you are unable to collect within 3 months let us know and we may be able to hold onto the pottery for longer. We at Studio 62 also claim no responsibility for any breakages that happen once the pot has left the studio.
Disclaimers
We at Studio 62 reserve the right to discontinue a product without notice.
All underglazes, glazes and paints used by Studio 62 are water soluble (Unless otherwise advised) and as such, the customer agrees to assume all liabilities for any and all damages resulting from use, misuse or accidental spillages of our products.
Studio 62 also accepts no responsibility for any bodily injury as a result of misuse by equipment supplied by us or our event organizers for use at your visit, party or event.
Except when stated to the contrary, all contents of the website including photographs, text and graphics is the copyright of Studio 62.
Studio 62 reserve the right to use photographs of your works for our marketing, website and social media.
